Grand revealing, grand closing. A day after it was revealed Swizz Beatz was the head of the file sharing website Megaupload, the site has reportedly been shut down with workers indicted. No word if Swizz was charged, but more details to come.

Wait, stop the party presses. According to the NY Post, Swizz Beatz is the monster behind Megaupload. Who knew?! Last month, Universal Records issued cease and desists to have promos featuring their artists removed. Mega returned fire with a lawsuit. Period.
A Mega rep told us: “We have never received any word that any artist has [individually] filed a take-down . . . [we have] legally binding agreements with the performers that appear in the video . . . They promised that they had the rights to enter into that agreement and it’s not interfering with any third-party rights.”
Last night, Busta, Mr. Kweli & Swizzy were all in the studio recording new music. Not sure for exactly who, but here are some pics courtesy of Porter House LA.
